- 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1/2 cup chopped capsicum
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tbsp kashmiri red chilli powder
- 2 tsp pav bhaji masala powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1/4 cup water
- as per taste Salt
- 2 pav
Steps to make to make Masala pav
- Firstly heat 1 tbsp butter and oil in a kadhai or tawa, add chopped onions fry till translucent next add chopped tomatoes and fry until they are soft
- Now add ginger garlic paste fry for a minute next add chopped capsicum and fry till capsicum are little soft
- Further add red chilli powder, pav bhaji masala, turmeric and salt
- Saute this for 5 mins,now add 1/4th cup water & mash this masala with masher and cook for 2-3 mins and switch off the flame,add some chopped coriander leaves
- Add 1 tbsp butter on tawa and cut pav into half then toast it for a minute.Further turn over and spread some amount of prepared masala on both side of pav
- Also spread the masala over the pav & garnish with chopped coriander leaves
- Finally serve masala pav hot with sliced onions & a piece of lemon
